About Us
OT Trauma Tools is an innovative mental health service that specializes in supporting adults living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and trauma conditions. OT Trauma tools were developed by Laura Ludowyke, Monash University Educator, PhD Candidate and Mental Health Occupational Therapist. Originally titled ‘My Potential’, OT Trauma tools provide evidence-based, trauma-informed resources, training, counselling, and education related to BPD and complex trauma. Our methods combine individual therapy and creative therapies, utilising narrative approaches, DBT skills, and occupation-based strategies to empower our clients to build meaningful and purpose-filled lives.
Job Description
We seek a self-directed and collaborative Graduate Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role will involve working with clients diagnosed with a psychosocial disability under the NDIS, providing occupational therapy assessments and recommendations, and implementing interventions to help clients achieve their NDIS goals. You will have the opportunity to build your caseload gradually, with the scope to increase working days as our services expand.
As part of the role, you will also contribute to our new CPD platform’s development, helping to build brand awareness through social marketing and content creation.
