About:

Rachel is an Occupational Therapist and Lectured in Occupational Therapy in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications: BA Honours Journalism, Film and Media Postgraduate Certificate in Education with Qualified Teacher Status Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy MSc in Occupation and Health

  Aim: To increase awareness of invisible, chronic health conditions and to build knowledge of the value of lived experience within occupational therapy. To introduce invisible and chronic disabilities for you, namely endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain syndrome. To analyze the impact that applying occupational therapy theory and principles has on chronic pelvis pain To reflect on how the lived experience of chronic pain has impacted upon my approach to service users as an occupational therapist.

Interventions: Occupational analysis, grading, energy conservation, sleep hygiene and occupational balance.
